Life Skills Training
For two weeks, we will help you redefine your life. You will:
• Build confidence
• Learn what employers want and how to meet their expectations
• Learn how to complete job applications, provide references, and practice interviewing skills
It’s not an easy two weeks, but we promise it’s worth it.
Spiritual Renewal & Motivation
Every human being is worthy, entitled to respect, and capable of achieving their goals. But sometimes people lose hope.
We help you see yourself in a new light and help you motivate you to achieve success.
Whatever barriers are in your way, we help you work through them.
Transitional Employment
Once you graduate from the two-week workshop, we work together to create a custom Employment Development Plan.
We assist with the job search, including filling out applications and interview preparation.
The goal here is to help you find and keep a stable job, so you can build an employment track record with references.
Keeping the same job for at least one year is key to achieving employment stability.
Employment Support
At JobsWork MKE, we don’t stop when you get a job. We’re with you as long as you need us.
We hold regular meetings and phone calls with you and your employer — your manager, their manager. We want to see how you’re making progress. If something isn’t going right at work, we help you and your employer work through it.
Advancement: Skills, Education & Training and Advanced Job Placement
Once you’ve achieved stable employment, we help you take the next step towards a career. Often this means more training. We can help you with that.
Pathways to Healthcare Careers
JobsWork MKE places many people in healthcare jobs. Now, most of these jobs don’t require a lot of experience or education. That’s okay.
Because once you’ve got your foot in the door, our goal is to help you move up to higher-skilled, better-paying jobs in healthcare.
